About our NMC Virtuosos Oboe Reed:

This is our flagship reed! We are proud to now offer 3 different professional reed models, each featuring distinct differences. Why is this one called Virtuoso? Becuase Andrea uses it herself in various types of venues and playing. It will be our heaviest reed option, meaning there will be a 'beefier' tip opening and thickness to the cane. There is wiggle room for needed adjustments, but these will be sent with 'Andrea' specs unless otherwise specified.

I have a great deal of pride in this handmade professional oboe reed option! NMC Virtuoso Oboe Reeds are meticulously wrapped and are never overtied past the 47mm mark. Because I use a unique scoring technique on the bottom of the cane, they rarely have cane cracks above the thread.
