NMC Prodigy Oboe Reed

These reeds are made using the Reeds n' Stuff USA shape and an Advantage USA staple. Such a lovely, versatile, shape that makes it easy to get a quality oboe sound with a medium tip opening on the reed with easy response. These reeds are solid for any advancing oboist ready for an upgrade from store bought reeds, or an occasional player looking for a relaxed feel with a great sound. 

This reed option used to be in our professional line and called the “Prodigy”. We felt it best to shift this reed into a lovely intermediate option so it better marches its name. I have my reasons for choosing that particular name for that particular reed, but my brain can be like an obstacle course with things like that sometimes!
