A vintage straight mute manufactured by Micro Musical Products. Highly coveted by jazz and brass players, it is particularly famous for its distinct, bright, and focused "Solotone" (clear-tone) timbre. Since these mutes are no longer actively produced, the ones that we have here at Nebraska Music Company are new old-stock.
