These reeds have really taken off! Andrea is very picky about what she puts forth into the world when it comes to reeds, and these are no exception. Recently, these reeds have shipped all over the US, Singapore and the UK.

These reeds are designed to offer great response, stable pitch in all registers, and a lovely warm sound. They do have a small-medium tip opening which comes in handy when you suddenly have to play a big solo on a cold instrument (English horn life – am I right?). Care of your NMC Mezzo Professional English Horn Reed: please allow the reed to soak for 5-10 minutes. Should you adjust your wire, make small gentle motions with the pliers. You can also remove the wire if you wish.
