NMC Mezzo Professional English Horn Reed

Professional English horn reeds now available! Easy response, stabile pitch in all registers, and made with excellent materials (no cheap stuff here!). I would say these are medium hardness and offer a nice rich sound. These reeds will allow room for adjustments if needed. 

For these reeds, I use a fairly narrow shape that works for many players, Gonzalez cane, and either Chiarugi 2+ or Mark Chudnow staples. Each reed will come with a silicon tube at the end for a better bocal seal. 

Adjustments to the wire can vary the opening very slightly. Should you make any adjustments to the wire, be gentle and make only small adjustments. Since wires take away reed vibrations, I use a very soft very malleable wire. Please soak your EH reeds for 5-10 minutes.
