This American Long Scrape English Horn reed is handmade to project and be comfortably responsive. This reed is tuned to A=440, and is tied onto a Rigotti Brass collard staple.

 

The Professional Reed is recommended for the collegiate or advanced adult player. It has more resistance than the Student Reed and is meant to project within an orchestral hall.

 

The Student Reed is best for highschool, or the adult amateur player, those who plays for less than 2 hrs a day. It is built to be easy to play on , but will not project as well as the Professional Reed in an orchestral hall.
