our vision
Our vision is to provide woodwind players both near and far with an impressive assortment of reeds, supplies and instruments. We are also equipped and excited to serve the Council Bluffs area with general musical instruments, supplies, and music lessons at our new Location in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Our mission is simple. We want to help our music community grow by providing quality instruments and supplies at an affordable cost, and with a side of excellent customer service. We strive to have a positive impact on those we connect with and believe in building bridges in our community.
our story
Andrea has long dreamed of opening a specialty shop that combines her love of business with her love of all things woodwind. Nebraska Music Company is the realization of that dream. While Andrea is the primary buyer and visionary of the business, her husband Tim oversees many of its logistical aspects.
We are both originally from Minnesota but can’t imagine calling anywhere but Omaha home. We both received bachelor’s degrees in music from North Dakota State University and Andrea earned her master’s in oboe performance from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Andrea currently works as a music educator and performer and Tim is a butcher. In our spare time, we like to cook, read, play board games and hang out with our five cats (Ember, Owl, Ingrid, Opie, Jack) and rescue dog (Bindi).
